The discrete induced theory is an arithmetic scheme equipped with a Clifford sheaf and a finite group action; the continuum limit and the background dependence are controlled by a map from a moduli stack; the numerical parameters of the resulting QFT are special values of L-functions attached to the arithmetic data.

This is a schematic research conjecture. An arithmetic family of forms, its Clifford algebra sheaf and a specified finite-group action are available finite constructions. The moduli-stack clause is an informal target for organizing families, isomorphisms and descent; no site, stack or continuum comparison map has been specified here. Nor has an arithmetic L-function or its special value been identified with a parameter of a quantum field theory (QFT). These terms describe the conjectured interfaces, not additional structures carried by every finite Gaussian model.

The first background-selection question is algebraic. Schematically, let \(B_{\mathrm {alg}}\) denote a chosen set of algebraic background data and \(\mathcal S\) a chosen set of admissible structures; a selector would be a map \[\sigma :B_{\mathrm {alg}}\longrightarrow \mathcal S.\] A physical interpretation would additionally require a set \(\operatorname {Env}_{\mathrm {phys}}\) of physical environments and a map \[E:\operatorname {Env}_{\mathrm {phys}}\longrightarrow B_{\mathrm {alg}}.\] Neither map is asserted to have been constructed by the enriched-background example. The finite interfaces and their limits specify what the present calculations do establish.

The synthesis conjecture connects discrete induction to arithmetic, symmetry, backgrounds, continuum limits and physical observables. The opposite-vertex elimination supplies a concrete finite comparison: averaging the removed fields preserves retained expectations, while fixing those fields can change them. The following 8 comparisons distinguish such proved constructions from the additional identifications required by each part of the conjecture.

1. Arithmetic scheme. The arithmetic four-cycle family gives an explicit coefficient ring and separate open domains for a nondegenerate form, an invertible eliminated block and a trace observable. The bad fibers show why these domains differ. This constructs a family; it does not select a unique arithmetic model for a physical system. The background arc adds no arithmetic scheme.
2. Clifford sheaf. The configuration Clifford algebra and its form-preserving maps extend to a sheaf compatible with scalar extension. For the enriched rational objects, Schur elimination multiplies the Galois characters of the retained and eliminated even centers. Primitive Dirichlet representatives must be formed after this product; multiplying their zero extensions need not give the same function, and no L-function multiplication rule follows. A physical spin or matter interpretation and an analytic coupling to observables require further maps. Configuration Clifford algebras and spatial Clifford modules are distinct objects. Grassmann integration is a later algebraic calculus. It is not this sheaf.
3. Finite-group action. The specified half-turn, group-algebra action and sector marginals make symmetry and Gaussian elimination compatible under their stated hypotheses. The cycle half-turn fixes the even Clifford center pointwise; the nontrivial algebra involution of that center is a different action. These supplied symmetries do not select a physical gauge group or its dynamics. The background arc adds the real isotypic projectors of finite-group symmetry of Gaussian fields and the finite gauge laws of the pure-gauge torus and the surface character formula. Those laws are finite-group constructions. They do not choose a physical gauge group either.
4. Backgrounds and moduli. The enriched background groupoid specifies objects, arrows, reference pairings and retained projections. Scalar descent preserves chosen invariants, while quadratic isometry can forget essential background data. The two-vertex comparison makes a second forgetting explicit: the same unweighted interval and retained endpoint admit different Gaussian variances. A groupoid of this kind alone supplies neither descent over a site nor a physical environment-selection map. Selected backgrounds and connections, from § [fdip-0059] through § [fdip-006C], keep that limit: a connection there is a fixed background, and the joint matter law of Example [fdip-0078] does not supply a site or a stack.
5. Continuum comparison. The finite spatial Dirac calculation and its zero modes and nearest-neighbor comparison identify finite spectra and an operator mismatch. The supplied-circle limit now proves convergence of one fixed Fourier mode, its massive inverse and its Gaussian second moment. This is not convergence of the full induced law or a map from moduli controlling a continuum limit. The background arc does not extend this comparison. Its finite transfer operator Theorem [fdip-007U], the reflection counterexample Example [fdip-007P], and the free Wilson kernel Theorem [fdip-009V] remain finite-volume statements.
6. Parameters and L-values. The trace ratio is an independently defined finite observable; its cycle values distinguish backgrounds. Two rational fibers are isometric as quadratic forms but have different trace ratios. The fiber-constancy criterion therefore excludes recovering this ratio from the rational quadratic-isometry class, and hence from its Clifford algebra, center character or any fixed collection of character-only L-values. No physical parameter is identified; arithmetic data that also retain the reference pairing and mass remain outside this obstruction. The background arc adds no L-value.
7. Discrete induction. The Gaussian elimination theorem, retained expectation and cycle calculation construct an effective precision, normalization factor and new couplings, with symmetry transport. A formal quartic interaction composes under elimination through second order in its coupling and transports a supplied symmetry. The three-coordinate example exhibits constant, quadratic, quartic and sextic terms and computes a normalized connected four-point function; stationary elimination separates tree contributions from fluctuation terms. These finite formal calculations do not reconstruct eliminated data or supply a nonperturbative theory. The background arc adds the rooted-forest expansion Theorem [fdip-005V], the interacting selected background, and fermionic elimination, each at the scope stated in those notes.
8. Physical equations and observables. These finite operators and normalized laws form a mathematical foundation. A comparison with Standard Model, quantum-field or general-relativistic equations still requires specified dynamics and observables, including the relevant gauge, matter, time and gravitational structures. No such physical identification is established by the finite identities above. The binary-tetrahedral test Proposition [fdip-00A0] adds two finite homomorphisms and no laboratory observable. The Hermitian Wilson counterexample Example [fdip-009W] is a convention check, not an identification.
