Proposition. Constants and odd Gaussian observables [fdip-002Y]

For the Gaussian expectation associated to positive self-adjoint \(Q\) on \((E,h)\), constants satisfy \(\omega _Q(c)=c\). Every absolutely integrable odd Borel function \(F\), meaning \(F(-x)=-F(x)\), has \(\omega _Q(F)=0\). In particular each linear observable \(\ell _j(x)=h(j,x)\) has mean zero.

This is a direct consequence of normalization and the change-of-variables convention used in [tao2011measure, Exercise 1.2.21, p. 41, preliminary version]. Oddness alone, without absolute integrability, does not define an expectation.
