Proposition. Gaussian expectation is a polynomial state [fdip-002X]

For positive self-adjoint \(Q\) on a finite real inner-product space, its expectation restricts to a real algebraic state on the actual polynomial function algebra, with identity involution.

This is the direct integral realization of the convention in [waldmann2004states, Section 3.1, p. 9; Definitions 3.7 and 3.9, Remark 3.10(iv), p. 11], specialized to ordinary real coefficients as in Definition [fdip-0024]. A supplied unital star-compatible algebra map permits state pullback, in particular the coordinate restriction pullback. This asserts neither an automatic Clifford-algebra state nor a conditional expectation.
