Theorem. A pinned three-cycle integrates to compact triality [fcap-003T]

Let \(G=\operatorname {Spin}(Q_8^+)\) be the compact positive-square Clifford group, and let \(V\) denote its complexified vector representation. There is a smooth outer automorphism \(\tau :G\to G\) of exact order three for which \[V\circ \tau \simeq S^+,\qquad V\circ \tau ^2\simeq S^-.\] Here \(S^+=L(\omega _4)\) and \(S^-=L(\omega _3)\) use the exterior convention of Proposition [fcap-003B]. These are literal pullbacks of representations of the compact real group.

The outer-class calculation in Theorem [fcap-003C] is thereby realized by a chosen cube-one automorphism. TauCeti's Serre diagram automorphism formalizes generator reindexing and its order relation on the presented Lie algebra. Its compact real-form identification and integration to this Clifford group are additional steps proved above. The tripled-carrier automorphism discussed in Proposition [fcap-003B] remains a different construction.
