Definition. Pretrained and post-trained routing models [ftip-0092]

A routing model is a triple \(\mathfrak m=(e,h,C_0)\) with the types fixed in Definition [ftip-0090]--Definition [ftip-0091]. The pretrained model is \(\mathfrak m_0=(e_0,h_0,C_0)\). In the source intervention, a post-trained model may replace \(e_0\) and \(h_0\), but it retains exactly \(C_0\).

Write \(\mathfrak m(\xi )\) for the random response obtained by sampling \(c\sim h(e(\xi ))\) and returning \(c(\xi )\). The source sometimes writes this as though the router selected a circuit rather than a distribution; the stochastic reading follows its declared codomain \(\Delta (C_0)\).
