    The following is an equation:

      eq.  [eqid]

        \[E = m c^2 \tag{1.2}\]

        eq.  [eqid2]

          \[E = m c^2 \tag{1.3}\]

          eq 2.  [math-eq-1.4]

            \[E = m c^2 \tag{math-eq-1.4}\]

            Now we refer to eq 1, eq [eqid].
